CDN RECORDS ANNOUNCES NEW SIGNING: NECROTION
The Underground Has Awakened. The Apocalypse Begins Anew.

August 16, 2024 – Ontario, Canada – CDN Records is proud to officially welcome one of the East Coast's most viciously underrated death metal forces into its horde: NECROTION .

Born in fire. Forged in chaos. Reborn in oblivion.

From the decaying underbelly of Philadelphia, NECROTION first reared its bloodied head in 1990—a time when true underground death metal was soaked in tape hiss, sweat, and the stench of the grave. Drawing from the unholy influence of Venom , Slayer , Possessed , Voivod , Morbid Angel , Terrorizer , Repulsion , and Autopsy , the band created a sonic weapon of pure underground aggression. Their message was clear: this world is filth, and they were its soundtrack.

Their 1991 demo Fallen Salvation spread like plague through the tape-trading network, earning them cult status and slots alongside legendary acts such as Incantation , Unleashed , Entombed , Goreaphobia , Crucifier , Vital Remains , Profanatica , Immolation , and Mortician . The following year, they delivered Prelude to Apocalypse via After World Records—a harrowing 7” that sounded like a civilization in collapse.

Then, without warning, NECROTION fell silent. Swallowed by the same chaos they once channeled.

But death is never the end.

In 2024, NECROTION returns.

Risen from the grave and more feral than ever, original members John Litchko (Guitar/Vocals) and Joe Young (Guitar) have returned to unleash devastation once more, now joined by Dave Latraverse (Drums) and Mike Trush (Bass). The result? A new era of putrid, unrelenting death metal—a testament to everything NECROTION ever stood for, and a promise of what’s still to come.
