New York, NY – On the one-year anniversary of Leeway vocalist Eddie Sutton’s passing, legendary Prong frontman Tommy Victor and rising New York thrashers Electrocutioner have joined forces to unleash a blistering tribute: a cover of Leeway’s iconic crossover anthem “On the Outside.”

Originally featured on Leeway's groundbreaking 1989 album Born to Expire , "On the Outside" is a powerful testament to Sutton’s signature vocal style and the band’s influential blend of New York Hardcore and razor-sharp thrash.

Tommy Victor, who appears on the track courtesy of Steamhammer/SPV , shared,

‘On the Outside’ is one of my favorite Leeway songs. This is a tribute to Eddie Sutton. R.I.P.

Drummer Tyler Bogliole (who also plays with Prong) took extra care in shaping the song's direction, even consulting with Leeway founding guitarist A.J. Novello to ensure authenticity and reverence throughout the recording process. He also enlisted Artie Alexander of Fire Is Murder —a guitarist who played alongside Sutton in the final years of Leeway NYC—for the scorching solo.

I'm honored to be able to record a tribute to one of the greatest voices in hardcore/crossover, ” said Bogliole. " Leeway has always been a huge band for me, so covering a track with Tommy Victor and Artie from Leeway is an honor. "

The release of “On the Outside” also builds anticipation for Electrocutioner's upcoming sophomore album "Harbinger," set to drop via CDN Records in fall 2025.

This tribute is more than just a cover—it's a celebration of Eddie Sutton’s legacy, and a fierce reminder of the influence he left on the worlds of hardcore and thrash.
