PEELING FLESH, SVDDEN DEATH, YVM3 & NIMDA DROP EXPLOSIVE COLLAB TRACK “MIDNIGHT” — OUT NOW VIA VOYD MUSIC

A sonic collision like no other has landed. Peeling Flesh, Svdden Death, YVM3, and NIMDA have joined forces on a punishing new collaborative single, “Midnight” , officially out now via VOYD Music. Already teased to the masses by none other than DJ Marshmello—who dropped it during a recent European festival set and shared it with his staggering 29 million Instagram followers—the track has finally arrived in its full, monstrous glory. Accompanied by striking artwork from dubstep heavyweight and visual artist EPTIC, “Midnight” is an all-out assault on the senses. It begins with a nostalgic sample from Ice T’s classic track of the same name before erupting into a genre-defying rager that fuses slam death metal and face-melting dubstep with mechanical precision.

ORIGINS OF A MONSTER

Peeling Flesh guitarist Jason Parrish recalls the early spark for the track:

“The song came from me listening to Ice T with my pops when I was like 9 or 10, in an ‘89 Trans Am with two 12s in the hatch. I always wanted to sample ‘Midnight’ into something, so I did it for the intro and wrote some riffs over it.”

Vocalist Damonteal Harris adds:

“We linked up with NIMDA, then he linked up with Svdden Death and YVM3—and here we are. Shout out to Jason’s pops and NIMDA.”

The result? A track that’s already been described by Loudwire as “completely brutal, knock-down/drag-out” before descending into a dubstep-laced breakdown that’s made for circle pits and bass drops alike. Read more via Loudwire

Svdden Death (aka Daniel Howland)

The Bay Area’s Svdden Death is a powerhouse of modern dubstep, seamlessly blending deathcore ferocity with experimental bass and massive festival energy. With projects like VOYD and MELLODEATH (with Marshmello), Svdden Death continues to elevate heavy electronic music to theatrical, mosh-worthy extremes.

YVM3

An anonymous force of nature in bass music, YVM3 is a genre-bending juggernaut channeling the aggression of metal and hardcore into earth-shaking dubstep. With support from the scene’s elite, YVM3 is reshaping the boundaries of heavy sound one release at a time.

NIMDA (Barney Warner)

UK-based NIMDA has taken the tearout dubstep world by storm. With roots in hardcore bands and a live show that feels more metal than EDM, he’s become a staple at massive festivals like Rampage and Forbidden Kingdom. Pure chaos, crafted with surgical precision.

"Midnight" is more than a collab—it’s a warning shot. Expect more genre-defying chaos as these artists continue to blur the lines between metal and bass. For now, crank this one loud.
