Polish Death Metal Legends VADER Reveal 2024 Recap and Plans for 2025: New EP, Album Reissue, Full-Length Album Recording, and Anniversary Tour

Polish death metal pioneers VADER have wrapped up a monumental 2024 and teased an explosive 2025. In a detailed Facebook post, the band reflected on the past year and revealed their plans for the year ahead, including new releases, reissues, and a special anniversary tour.
2024: A Year of Relentless Activity

2024 marked another busy year for Vader as they celebrated their 40th anniversary with tours across the USA, Canada, and Europe. Highlights included:

Performances at summer festivals, including a triumphant return to Jarocin after three decades.
A studio session at Grindstone Studio in August to record new material for the upcoming EP.
Wrapping up the year with the “Freezing Hell” tour, which took the band around the Baltic Sea.
Continued success with drummer Michał Andrzejczyk, who also joined the roster of TAMA drums endorsers.

What’s Coming in 2025?

Vader promises an even more intense 2025, packed with releases, reissues, and live performances:

New EP “Humanihility”: Set to release in spring via Nuclear Blast, this EP will mark Vader’s first new material since Solitude In Madness (2020).
“Black To The Blind” Reissue: The 1997 classic will be re-released with updated artwork by Jacek Wiśniewski and will also be available this spring through Nuclear Blast.
25th Anniversary of “Litany”: To celebrate the landmark album, Vader will embark on a summer tour, performing Litany in its entirety. This includes tracks that haven’t been played live since the album’s release in 2000—and some that have never been performed.
New Full-Length Album: Recording sessions for Vader’s next studio album will begin in autumn 2025.

The band also announced plans to play at 20 summer festivals, ensuring that 2025 will be filled with explosive live performances.
Studio Update on “Humanihility”

Vader has nearly completed work on the new EP Humanihility. Lead tracking sessions took place at Spiderclass Studio in Wroclaw, with contributions from former guitarist Mauser recorded in his UK studio. The EP’s production is being finalized by Scott Atkins at Grindstone Studio and is expected to be ready by mid-January.
