Symetria Drops New EP “Where Did We Go Wrong” – Out Now!

The wait is over! Heavy metal juggernaut Symetria has officially released their much-anticipated EP, “Where Did We Go Wrong”, now available as of October 11, 2024. With this explosive new release, Symetria is back with a vengeance, offering a hard-hitting sound for fans of Anthrax, Megadeth, and Overkill.

Fronted by Vince (Vocals), the band brings fresh fire with a revamped lineup featuring seasoned musicians: Bryan Stiver (Mystagen, The Grow Room, Totally Disgusted, BlyndSyde) on guitar, Mike Ditizio (Caustic, Totally Disgusted, BlyndSyde) on guitar, Ken Rothrock (The Grow Room, Totally Disgusted, BlyndSyde, Whiskey Demon) behind the drums, and Kevin O'Reilly (Manor Drive, Truest Damned, Sovereign, Psycho Timebombs) laying down the bass grooves. This infusion of talent and energy has resulted in a modernized, high-octane sound that’s already turning heads in the metal scene.

The EP kicks off with the fierce title track, “Where Did We Go Wrong”, which punches with an aggressive, attention-grabbing intensity. “Pick Up The Ashes” follows, bringing thrash-metal fury with speed and precision. The EP closes with “Dreams”, a sonic journey through intricate harmonies and powerful melodies that showcases Symetria’s ability to fuse technical skill with emotional depth.

Formed from the ashes of BlyndSyde, a band that played over 100 shows across five states from 2011 to 2014, Symetria’s journey has been one of perseverance and evolution. After a close call with Sumerian Records and setbacks due to legal name issues, Vince and the band regrouped and redefined their sound, resulting in the creation of Symetria and a globally released debut through an indie label. Now with the bands fresh lineup and new EP, Symetria marks a turning point!

Symetria’s latest effort, “Where Did We Go Wrong”, signals the band’s full return to form, ready to reclaim their place in the heavy metal arena with their revitalized sound.
