SHINING Unveils "Feberdrömmar (Del Ett)" – A Sinister Journey into the Nightmarish

The Sinister Initiative has transformed what began as a simple re-issue of the infamous “8 1/2” compilation, originally released 11 years ago by Dark Essence Records, into a two-part odyssey of sound. The first chapter, titled "Feberdrömmar (Del Ett)," is set to captivate listeners with an array of both old and new material, featuring an impressive lineup of iconic artists. The second chapter is currently in post-production and is scheduled for release in Summer 2025.

"Feberdrömmar (Del Ett)" includes a haunting new intro followed by nightmarish renditions of songs performed by a stellar cast: Maniac of SKITLIV, Pehr Sjöldhammar of ALFAHANNE, Attila Csihar of MAYHEM, Famine of PESTE NOIRE, and Gaahl of TRELLDOM.

This updated version will be available in stunning DIGIPACK, LP, and CASSETTE formats, featuring unique color options for vinyl: WHITE, SILVER, CLASSIC BLACK, and GOLD. Each vinyl will come with an exclusive A3 POSTER, adding to the allure for collectors. Limited to 100 copies worldwide for most colors, the classic black will be restricted to 200 copies, while only 100 cassettes will be produced, ensuring their value for dedicated fans.
