Cathode U.L.T., the newest addition to the Midwest metal scene, announces the release of their debut EP "Coal Horse." Hailing from Louisville, KY, Cathode U.L.T. delivers a potent fusion of sludge, doom, punk, and thrash, captivating listeners with their raw energy and uncompromising intensity.

Formed in August 2023, Cathode U.L.T. wasted no time in making their mark on the metal landscape. Drawing inspiration from bands like High on Fire, Bongripper, and Childbite, they quickly honed their sound and began crafting material for their inaugural EP. "Coal Horse" serves as a blistering introduction to Cathode U.L.T.'s sonic onslaught, featuring four tracks that showcase the band's ferocious blend of heavy riffs, thunderous drums, and guttural vocals.

"Coal Horse" is just the beginning for Cathode U.L.T. With rigorous practice and writing sessions, they have already begun work on their second EP, titled "Orphan Source," slated for recording in late 2024.
