Aries Field was one once a trio, but now on its third release else it is reduced to a one-they tied Fabio Stroppa there do everything yourself. One-man - projects can often bear the impression that no external Influence  shapes the result, but here Stroppa has actually achieved something sensible on my own. The songs are  straight, slightly progressive metal and driven by good riffs and melody lines, but it wouldn't have hurt if he hired a vocalist. The voice reminds occasionally about the plaintive touch like Billy Corgan (Smashing  Pumpkins) have and it just fits not into this genre. "Chained" is for me the album's highlight, but gradually as the songs go, it becomes a bit repetitive and chain- corpse. The base is promising, so maybe about Aries Field becomes a band again, it can blossom into something better. - Tommy Strand Soleng -

Aries Field is an Italian one-man band that specializes in producing Hard Rock and Alternative Metal music. The project was started in 2013 by three musicians, Fabio Stroppa, Francesco Barnab, and Davide Valentini, who were all inspired by different types of music. Although the band eventually split up due to personal and logistical reasons, Fabio Stroppa continued the project as the main writer, musician, and producer. In 2016, Alessio Rispoli joined the project and played guitar solos for the second and third records. Aries Field's music is a unique combination of old-school hard rock and alternative metal, featuring heavy songs and dark ballads that always focus on the melody. We are excited to introduce Aries Field and their incredible music to the world!

“Capsizing the Horizon” is the third record from Aries Field. It's a concept heavy metal album on the deluded desire to do something impossible like changing the past -- allegorically, capsize the horizon. It is narrated through different phases of a dream, from angry and regretful memories to pure nightmare, to eventually waking up to reality with themes that touch delusion, obsession, and suicide. The record features guitar solos by Alessio Rispoli (on Baptism and The Hunting), and it was mixed and mastered by Simone Pietroforte (Divergent Studios, Italy).
