Heavily influenced by the second wave of black metal, Moonaadem is a solo project that pays homage to the freedom & emancipation that this genre represents.

The project adopts a hybrid musical approach, that merges traditional riffing  with ambient
passages and modern structuring.
When it comes to thematics and lyrics, the focus is solely on the Human experience of things.
The project does not align with any religious or political ideologies.

Started by Marwan Antonios in late 2016, Moonaadem was his desire to reach a bolder sound and a more defined image.
In 2017 he put out a self-titled debut, followed by an LP “Néantiste” in 2019.
These releases will mark the first steps in his quest to elevate his work by finding the sound that fits his music.

M. Antonios also handles all other aspects of Moonaadem by himself, to make sure that the most  genuine and personal vision gets transmitted to his listeners.
This includes music production, recording, lyrics & artwork.

In August 9th 2023, he will be releasing his third output, in an EP format, entitled “Douleur de renaitre”.
Composed out of 8 tracks, the EP will be conceptual & describe the process of rebirth, while exploring it  from different angles.
