DESCENT OF MAN ring in a new era with their new EP "Cosmic Hunger". Death Metal fans will adore these songs for their power, brutality and dynamics. Already during the first run it becomes noticeable, which will also show up in further rotations of the record in a positive and supporting way: The record sings, laughs dirty and kicks the ass hard. And that for the first time, without having to listen to them compulsively over countless runs – just like how fast Death Metal is supposed to be! Already the opener "Putrescent Ascension" is probably the most DESCENT OF MAN-typical song on this EP. Fast, uncompromising, without any major frills. Each song in detail has potential for addiction. Nevertheless, there is considerable variation here and the simplicity of the songs isn't exactly overproportioned either. The same goes for the other two songs "Rebirth Through Atrocity" and "Dismal Finality" - I love those songs. - metal-division-magazine
