THE RED MOUNTAIN was created in 2015 in a friend’s basement as a heavy metal, hard rock, and live performances band from northeast Mississippi (Corinth). The band includes Jody ‘Goph’ Holland on the guitar, Cody Cromeans on bass, Adam Smith on drums and Dave Frost on vocals. Their powerful sound has garnered acclaim from notable sources: Its work has been praised by Glenn Fricker’s Spectre Media Studios’ Merciless Metal Mix Reviews and Power Play Rock & Metal Magazine which described it as “Big, muscular and groovy, spanning the divide between classic metal, stoner, and groove metal with great vocal hooks and melodies!” THE RED MOUNTAIN has also performed live, at the Tennessee Metal Devastation Music Fest in both 2022 and 2023.
