Third Full Lenght for the Milanese band Evil Spell, under Blasphemous Records, ready to show us all the blasphemy and misanthropy of which it is capable. Let's start immediately with listening.

"Horrid" is the song that opens the dances, a sound shot, thrasheggianti and bad riffs that crash straight into your ears, there is no shortage of black metal influences that distinguish the sound of the band, we continue with the title track "Padre Vostro", a song as delicate as a black mass, exudes wickedness and heresies from every note, the screams tear the eardrums, accompanied by martial rhythms, "Masonic Scum" is a dark, energetic song that maintains the thrash attitude,

"Cardinal Rapist" slows down the pace, almost touching doom, and then starts again with fast and sharp riffs. A short instrumental interlude, with a funeral character is "Necrology" that warms the ground for "Antisocial Satan" that manifests itself in all its wickedness, biting the listener with fast and powerful riffs, almost hardcore, and then dampening, cadenzandoli and enriching the song with atmosphere, and then returning to machine gun against our eardrums.

"Pain" keeps the same recipe, fast riffs that slow down in the middle of the song almost to the point of shutting down, and then start again until the end. "Sacrifice", is a song with totally thrash features, bad to almost remember the Slayer of the good old days, "Evil Slaughter" shows itself with the delicacy of a sledgehammer in the teeth, the black shades return to embellish the sound.

Evil Spell show themselves in excellent shape, creating an energetic and adrenaline-pumping album, well thought out, rich at the right point of wickedness, even if in some places the composition can be a bit repetitive, it is still an excellent listening. - Italia di Metallo

22 OCTOBER: EVIL SPELL “Padre Vostro” CD Release!

Another band is joining the roster of Blasphemous Records - Music for the Masses Records…and it’s EVILSPELL who’s been active in the metal scene for over a decade.

The agreement provides for the release of the new record, entitled “Padre Vostro”, which will feature 9 new tracks in pure Speed/Black EVIL SPELL style, by fans of early Kreator, Sodom, Hellhammer and Nifelheim .

“PADRE VOSTRO” will be released on October, 22, 2021 and will be distributed by Sleaszy Rider Records (USA and Mexico), Code 7 (Europe), Egea Music (Italy) and digitally on all digital music stores. The promotion will be entrusted to Metal Devastation USA, Grand Sounds (Europe) and Mazzarella Press Office (Italy).
