Part 1 - How did I get to know the band: Although I got the album, and its successor, which is also being discussed, provided by Metal Devastation Radio, I already knew the band before. In 2017 I listened to their song MASSIVE DEMON(IC) KILLING SPREE on Metal Only, a pretty good internet radio, which is still represented in my standard playlist today.

How do I find the record: Unfortunately, I would like to write more alive about the album, because I really like MDKS, but the energy that this song conveys is unfortunately completely missing from the album. Sure, the songs are quite good so far, but not breathtaking either. Here and there, growls are also used, which do a good job as a contrast.

Only NARCISSDE can inspire me a little. But even he doesn't make it into my playlist. The rest unfortunately only sounds average and unfortunately there is no enthusiasm for me.

Conclusion: Maybe among my readers there is one or the other who likes the band or the album. I hope that

Part 2 - How do I find the record: Sounds better than Part One. Maybe it's because they retell Bram Stoker's Dacula here, but the music also has more power here. Or do I understand the concept of the album better here? I don't know, but here I'm directly captivated. Now I feel like reading the book again. But before that, I'll tell you more about the album and my favorites.

Already FOR THE DEAD TRAVEL FAST captivates me with its melancholy and at the same time power. It's basically power metal that we get here. TRANSYLVANIAN WAYS already has plus points, because they have installed a harpsichord here. In places, the song could be used in a musical and I might even watch that. That's how I could describe every song now, but I turned away from that, so only A NEW KIND OF MANIAC. A rather quiet song that always has its outbursts that really fit Renfield.

Conclusion: Here I can give friends of heavy and power metal a clear recommendation. Even those who, like me, have read Dracula with joy and like metallic sounds will get their money's worth here. So stop and be careful who you invite into your house: - FULL METAL MAYHEM
