How did I get to know the band: Metal Devastation Radio is responsible for this again, as they sent me the album, with the addition "Dissonant Black Metal". That made me particularly curious.

How do I find the record: Just listen to the album as soon as it's there, or read on here:

TERRESTRIAL OBSTRUCTIONS starts with screaming guitars. These fade into the background in favor of neat distortion and nasty vocals. Here the singing really has it all. Nasty screaming and full of hatred it goes here to the point. A really cool introduction to the album.

UNDEAD WARLORD starts a bit more doomed than its predecessor, but after the intro it starts with beer barrel drums and a lot of anger in the stomach, as with the first song. Here some slower passages are interspersed again and again, but the basic tenor remains the same.

THE PURITY OF CORRUPTION starts at full throttle, only to suddenly become calm. Normally, I know the other way around, but that's how you can do it. Fuck the System.

FAILED REBIRTH is the next track and they really have to have someone really good on the clap, especially someone who doesn't have to push his ego by pushing himself into the foreground. Already the fourth song with guitar lines in the background, almost buried under the rhythm clap.

CHASM OF HORROR has a really cool riff to offer that runs through the whole song and won me directly for himself. Somehow dark and psychological. Clearly my favorite of the album.

SINISTER EXULTATION begins again dark and melancholic and so slowly I understand the dissonant, even if I think I discover a red thread in the cacophony. Definitely a really cool song.

IN THE REALM OF THE FERAL LORD forms the connection of the album and starts almost melodically, but with my beloved military drums. After this really strong intro it continues with nasty black metal, which in places reminds of AL Namrood. I couldn't have asked for a better finish for the disc.

Conclusion: The Amis have recorded a really strong piece of black metal. If you want some chaotic but hateful black metal, you should definitely get the album. Until then, listen here: Full Metal Mayhem
