After thirteen years of debut, this Norwegian band returns with their second album of black/thrash very well achieved and produced.

Vulture Lord are: Sorath in voice, Malphas on guitar and bass, Enzifer on guitar and Uruz in battery. The cover art was made by the Peruvian Jorge Vimendy (Cotard Syndrome, Coffin Rags, Hostile, etc.)

The songs on this album are basically thrash metal, but with that voice harsh of the black classic, and moments of blast beats of the style, since the rest are riffs thrashers very similar to the German bands of the mid-eighties in their early years, so don't expect those tremolo riffs they cool you to the blood, if not songs of Thrash with mixture of black metal. 

since "Bloodbound Militia", the disk does not rest between blast beats and already dirty and aggressive music that reaffirms itself in "Stillborn Messiah", but with a more repetitive chorus and ganchero. whereas "The Vulture Lord" is the highest point of this work, song with that groove it has no other songs, and with the use of tremolo riffs at times. Another one that stands out and is out of the ordinary on this album is "Burning The Kingdom Of God" where the band lowers the revolutions a little and the guitars have Riffs that stay in your head.

The black metal with thrash base that you hear in this work is not new, but if forceful, however, it seems that all the albums of this style sound the same, there is not much to differentiate yourself from other bands, still it is in the background, when the songs are of good quality.

Eighteen years after the release of their first full length album,  Profane Prayer , the legendary  Vulture Lord  have returned with its caustic, violent successor -  Desecration Rite ! The album will be released in  June  by  Odium Records and pre-orders started on April 22nd , along with the unveiling of the first single from the album,  'Bloodbound Militia' .
