Other releases of the band: This is their second album, after three compilations, two demos and one EP. 

How did I get to know the band: If the Metal Devastation Radio Black Metal from Norway is telling me, then I can say badly no. 

How do I find the record: Oh Hell yes, a really cool album, so let's go: 

GLORIFICATION OF THE DETHRONATION opens the album with a sample from "The Mask of Red Death" and then offers some synth. But the quote shows really well where the journey is going. 

BLOODBOUND MILITIA does not grant us a smooth entry, but immediately unleashes a storm made of the purest black metal. A racy song with angry vocals that could also occur in a dirty thrash metal band. If the rest of the album sounds like that, then it's going to be a fucking horny one. 

STILLBORN MESSIAH hits the same notch. The quality is held so well that I hardly know what to write about it, because I just want to enjoy the song. Also the second half of the songs, which is a bit slower, but offers really solos, captivates you. 

THE VULTURE LORD reduces the tempo a bit, but is still fun. Chön driving and full of hatred. This is what Black/Thrash must sound like. Later, the pace is tightened. But you can still see the foundation of the track. 

DIABOLICAL INTERVENTION gives more gas again and raises the level of aggression once again. You could almost think that a demon really holds the mic here. The solo here is a bit of a thing, but I can safely ignore it. 

PREPARE THE COFFIN starts with a really riff and then gets even better. Here you can clearly feel the aggression of the thrash out and the hatred of black metal. How the two things are synonymous, he didn't understand. Clearly my favorite of the album. 

BENFICAL MARTYRDOM stomps relentlessly. Here we get a little breather, but it loses none of the hardness. As if, instead of being repeatedly punched in the face, one liver hook after another would now be collected. 

BURNING THE KINGDOM OF GOD sounds almost doomy, definitely nice heavy. Even if the song gives gas, it remains lead-heavy. Here you can see really well, then it doesn't just need racy songs, for a Black Thrash album. 

PERVERTING THE BIBLE ends the album with a long, almost epic song that rises from the depths of hell to teach us its truth. The tempo continuously increases until the vocals begin to complete this tank and the album. 

Verdict: Clearly one of the best albums this year. Especially fans of thrash black metal are worth a look. And yes, the band has existed since the 90s so the veterans can also risk a look. Here you can listen: - Full Metal Mayhem

Eighteen years after the release of their first full length album,  Profane Prayer , the legendary  Vulture Lord  have returned with its caustic, violent successor -  Desecration Rite ! The album will be released in  June  by  Odium Records and pre-orders started on April 22nd , along with the unveiling of the first single from the album,  'Bloodbound Militia' .
