Demos SILENT STREAM OF GODLESS ELEGY from the nineties first time on LP

The doom metal wave, which spilled over North Moravia (Czech Republic) in the second half of the 1990s and waned sometime around 2000, is preserved in memories as a phenomenon of its time. It arose spontaneously, lasted only for a short time, but even after all these years, majority of those involved acknowledge that something extraordinary was happening at that time, something that transcended the borders of the region not only within the country, something that can be described as the most unique metal “movement” in Czech republic. Never before or after has any metal subgenre enjoyed such interest and produced such a large number of interesting bands - each of them so unique.

SILENT STREAM OF GODLESS ELEGY
came to being later than, for example, HYPNOTIC SCENERY, BIGOTRY / DISSOLVING OF PRODIGY or LOVE HISTORY, but they enjoyed a soaring rise. Two months after their foundation they recorded their first demo “Apotheosis” and less than a year later the same line-up recorded another one.

The music you can hear on this LP started a successful career of the band, which is the only one that has remained active from the “North Moravian doom metal scene of the 90s” and has not undergone a genre transformation. The band continues to play their sad music drawing on the doom metal legacy, now also with other elements, especially folklore ones.

Both  SILENT STREAM OF GODLESS ELEGY  demos were released only on audio cassettes at the time. For the first time, Parat Magazine & Productions offered them to fans in the CD format (digipak) in March 2017.

LP version released in June 2021 via Parat magazine & Productions.
