Witches of God - They came to kill
Review by The Zach Moonshine Show
This album picks right up where the last record left us and leads us into a whole new epic journey of Witches of God. With so many styles and so much diversity that makes the Witches sound it is genuinely hard to pinpoint what they sound like or to compare them to other bands is very difficult. They are genuinely unique and never boring the album has many dynamic, fast punk songs, slower paced psychedelic sounds, acoustic medleys and many different vocal ranges as well each song is completely different. My personal favorite is the title track and when you hear it you will see why! But don’t simply take my word for it, click play and listen to it and trust me when I say the vinyl sounds amazing! And the artwork is easily worth it!

Delving deeper into the depths of darkness, Witches Of God’s recent aural explorations have given birth to their latest offering entitled “They Came To Kill”.

"They Came To Kill" is the 2nd album by the group, Witches Of God, which formed in Los Angeles, California in early 2012. They Came To Kill is produced by Witches Of God & Samur Khouja (Joanna Newsom, Devendra Banhart).

"They Came To Kill" was recorded and mixed by Samur Khouja at Seahorse Sound Studios in Los Angeles, California and was mastered by Joona Lukala (Pentagram, Killing Joke) at Noise For Fiction in Turku, Finland.

Artist Tom Neely (The Humans, Henry & Glenn Forever) created the visually stunning cover and gatefold artwork in collaboration with artist Kristina Collantes.

A gorgeous 180-gram vinyl pressing of "They Came To Kill" which includes full color gatefold artwork and a bonus free CD version of the album will be available in January 2016.
