As Saturn’s malefic presence crossed the heavens and unleashed plague, isolation, and chaos upon the land, the three members of Kyrios also aligned, digging deep underground to summon their debut release, Saturnal Chambers. The trio consisting of Hypatian (guitar, bass, synths), Satan's Sword (drums), and Vornag (vocals) is centered around New York City and infuses the sounds and mood of black metal’s origins like Emperor, Dissection, Immortal, Mayhem, and Enslaved with the cryptic, angular qualities of Deathspell Omega, Abigor, and Ved Buens Ende. This conjunction of influences draws upon ancient ruins, dark age mysteries, abstract horrors, and the cold depths of space to create a soundscape befitting the plague year as the autumn chill descends. These themes are brought to life in the tapestry of artwork by Satan's Sword and lyrical incantations by Vornag that complete the Saturnal Chambers alchemy. All tracks were recorded internally by Kyrios with the exception of drum tracks at Rock & Roll Gas Station, which were then mixed by Hypatian and mastered by Arthur Rizk.
Blast off into the cold void of space and the darkest medieval dungeon simultaneously with Kyrios' Saturnal Chambers!
