New Music: Sabrewulf - Mala Suerte - Petrichor Release: 6 November 2020

Crushing riffs, that fat HM2 sound, growling vocals, blastbeats and breakdowns!

The origins of Sabrewulf go back to 2011 when 4 friends in El Paso, Texas decided they wanted to form a band together that would leave a permanent mark on the scene. Throughout the years Sabrewulf recorded and released several singles and eps and released those digitally. A first full length soon followed but it did not bring what the band expected so they decided to take things up a notch. After carefully constructing their new material Sabrewulf entered thea studio to record their album ‘Mala Suerte’. From start to finish ‘Mala Suerte’ is a trip through the barren Texas desert that leaves you gasping for air while your skin gets burnt to a crisp by the punishing rays of the sun. The Latin roots of some of the band members surely come sipping through in their sound. The harshness, the brutality, the feeling of abandonment all blended together in ten furious blasts of anger and despair. ‘Mala Suerte’ is the soundtrack to these modern times where covid19, chaos and oppressive governments all seem to want to breakdown the common man. It is the hall in which we all slowly creep towards our death trapped, like grey mice, in a maze called life.
