Create Events For Shows!

Use Facebook to create events for your shows, use a page or your personal profile whichever has the most following. You are all or should be editors on our Facebook page
https://www.facebook.com/metaldevastationradio/ it is mandatory that you use this page to create all events from now on facebook. You can still add your own personal pages as cohosts as well as add the artists and or pages of record labels pr etc anything that has anything to do with the show you are promoting should be added to the cohost and details section. As far as the title and images used, Be creative and make it catchy, provocative or something that stands out, it works! Use a cool image that catches the eye on it too. I don't recommend using the same flyer over and over its boring to people. Also a number one way to drive instant traffic to your show is to do the event and send out invites at the beginning of your show or 5 min before you start this way everyone gets notifications instantly when you are live. You may not have as many that click the going button, but ultimately you will have more people join you in chat and tune in to the show.
another technique that is new to facebook they recently added the option to message all that click going to event so if you wanna send out mass invites prior to the show date and build a going list then right before the show starts send out a mass message to all going to remind them to come join you on the site and give them the link. I used that method on friday and it seemed to work great i had a bunch of listeners and chatters throughout the night on my show.
Make sure to always add these links to description areas and in the notes on any flyers you share promoting the shows. No one will search to find you, so its important to include links so all they have to do is click the links to join you and these are very important direct links for anyone on any device.
