“Son Of A Star” taken from DESERT's album “Never Regret”, released worldwide during 2015 via Raven Music and Irond Records. This video was filmed and produced by Vadim Mechona, who's known by his previous works with Desert's “Never Regret” and also Orphaned Land’s “Let The Truce Be Known” videos. The shooting process took place at the Ha-Makhtesh Ha-Katan location, a geological erosional landform of Israel's Negev desert, during the extreme meteorological conditions, +43C heat. The storyline of the video and the song itself is based on the Shimon Bar Kochva’s rebellion against Roman Empire in 132-135 CE at the ancient Judea area and describes it’s tragic fall in the striving for freedom of the Jewish state.
