Real Vampire Life Ezine’s editor and publisher Tim Bey introduced me to the webzine’s correspondent and translator Ronin Costa for an interview. She and Bey are long time collaborators who have worked on several projects together. I contacted her, we completed the article in the space of a week or two and it is now posted at AEA zine. Previous interviews provided information about vampire communities is the U.S. and South America; Costa’s interview provides information about vampire communities in Italy. The lifestyle there is quite different from the States, with most of the folklore coming from Serbia and Romania (some is held over from the Roman Empire). Costa has researched vampire folklore from a young age; this led her to other areas you wouldn’t expect to be associated with vampires. I don’t want to give too much away , but a few things you can read about include the Italian Real Vampires League and Clan Resurrectus a group she was long involved in, and the stark differences between myths and reality about modern vampires. This interview is suggested reading if you wish to learn more about vampire culture and lifestyle in today’s world. http://aeafanzine.blogspot.com/2018/02/vampire-interview-ronin-costa.html
