Whitechapel make a welcome appearance at Download 2019 and we spoke with Alex Wade, Guitarist to talk about their latest release, touring and playing out live. On the success of their latest recording “The Valley”, he said: “The fans are liking it, I feel there’s a certain vibe and feel to the record, we just so pleased to be playing these live to the audience”. Speaking about the whole feeling of the new album, a new phase for Whitechapel, Alex said: “Recording this it was pretty smooth compared to some of our past records. We worked with Mark Lewis again and he did a really great job, engineering the record and making sure the tracks sounded how they needed to sound”.
