Marijuana is very illegal in Japan, but that doesn't mean the people of the country don't get down. The UK dispatched a special doom force of Conan and Kurokuma to Japan last year at the behest of Granule for the 'Doomed Japan' tour. The stoners in Kurokuma were able to score some flower and visited the first head shop ever opened in Japan, in Osaka. The bands also take in the culture, sleep in pods and eat the local food. The three bands played in Nagoya, Osaka and Tokyo, bringing some monumentally slow and heavy shows to a fledgling stoner/doom scene out there. The run ended with a sold out all-dayer at Earthdom in Shinjuku, and here's the video of exactly what went down on tour. Featuring music from all three bands, as well as Birushanah from Osaka.
