New audio obtained directly from the actress who starred in the “Crash Reborn” video reveals what appears to be a coordinated effort to suppress Wayne Static’s final recorded collaboration.
In the recording, Bobby Cannon — the man who filed the recent bogus copyright claims on both “Crash” and “Crash Reborn” videos — admits he is in talks with the team behind the official Wayne Static documentary (the project publicly tied to Edsel Dope and Static-X).
This happened right before he launched the false DMCA claims that temporarily removed the videos.
The tracks — which have already surpassed 2 million combined streams on YouTube and continue climbing — are slated to appear in filmmaker Matt Zane’s upcoming unauthorized documentary about Wayne Static and Tera Wray.
Mikael Johnston has countered the claims with official proof: U.S. Copyright Office registration PA0001050574, which lists him and Warner-Tamerlane as the rightful owners. The ownership is not in dispute. Here's the guy that's allegedly working with Edsel who took down the videos.
