The Great Kat Rossini's William Tell Overture Music Video.
The Great Kat shreds the famous TV show “Lone Ranger” theme song on guitar & violin! Gioachino Rossini composed his famous opera “William Tell”, which premiered in 1829. Rossini’s opera was based on William Tell, the legendary Swiss Folk Hero who was a virtuoso marksman with the crossbow and famous for his arching skills. Legend has it that on November 18, 1307, William Tell defied the Austrian authority by not bowing to a hat that was placed on a pole by Gessler, the Austrian Vogt (overlord). William Tell was arrested. Tell's punishment would be that he and his son would be executed unless he could shoot an apple from his son's head from a distance of 80 paces. William Tell shot the apple successfully, but Gessler noticed that William Tell had an extra arrow, which William Tell had planned to use to kill Gessler. Gessler captured William Tell again, but Tell escaped and ultimately killed Gessler. William Tell's famous fights for liberty made him a folk hero and caused a rebellion leading to the Swiss Confederation. “William Tell Overture” was made famous as the theme song on the “Lone Ranger” TV show, and The Great Kat now shreds this famous work on virtuoso guitar & violin and conducts her all-male rhythm guitar symphony, bringing the legend of the famous archer William Tell to life. The Great Kat, Juilliard grad violin virtuoso and “Top 10 Fastest Shredders Of All Time” - Guitar One Magazine, is the only guitar/violin double virtuoso shredding Rossini’s masterpieces at high speeds and bringing his genius music to a whole new generation with metal. The Great Kat Guitar/Violin Goddess celebrates Rossini’s 229th birthday (born on Feb 29, 1792) with this powerful music video.
