The Official Music Video for the song RAPE CULTURE by DYMBUR
The song Rape Culture is an attempt to raise awareness on the rape crisis that is prevalent in India. With the country's capital Delhi being termed 'The Rape Capital of The Nation', DYMBUR realized that it was high time that we need to address this issue.
The song also talks about victims of rape such as Nirbhaya and Asifa. Off course, the other characters in the song are fictional but were an absolute necessity.
Beside this the song also show cases Khasi Traditional Instruments (Ka Duitara, Ka Mieng, Ka Bom, Ka Shaw Shaw) indicating the band's shift towards folk metal, which we termed as 'KHASI THRAAT FOLK METAL'
Recorded. Mixed & Mastered by Cornelius Kharsyntiew at Legato Recording Studio, Shillong, India.
Directed by Aditya Vishwanath
Produced by Andreas Nathaniel War

What have human beings become
A world we live in where victims are made fun
Is this the price they pay?
A culture where victims are blamed for the crimes committed on them
Happiness is destroyed by memories of what happened
Why is justice still a far cry?
Don’t blame the victims
Why is justice still a far cry?
Why do we keep silent? Why do we stand by?
Let’s stop this culture
Why is justice still a far cry?
Don’t blame the victims
Why is justice still a far cry?
Her innocence kept her in a state of confusion
Finally the unbearable pain knocks her out cold
With unconsciousness being her only friend
Until death hurried to liberate her soul
Rest in peace little one
Why is justice still a far cry?
Don’t blame the victims
Why is justice still a far cry?
Why do we keep silent? Why do we stand by?
Let’s stop this culture
Why is justice still a far cry?
Don’t blame the victims
Why is justice still a far cry?
We call the women of our land
Come out and join hands
It’s time to make a stand
Together we can break these chains
A culture where victims are blamed for the crimes committed on them
A girl steps onto a bus and her life is destroyed
Ganged raped and brutally tortured
She clings onto her life for thirteen days
Born into the trade with the skills to please the flesh
A slave to her trade with never a chance to escape
She can still get raped.
Why is justice a far cry?
Still a far cry?
Why is justice still a far cry?
Don’t blame the victims
Why is justice still a far cry?
Why do we keep silent? Why do we stand by?
Let’s stop this culture
Why is justice still a far cry?
Don’t blame the victims
Why is justice still a far cry?
