This song was entirely composed and written during the night of the 15th of April 2019. That day, a fire broke out in Notre-Dame cathedral in Paris. By the time it was extinguished, the emblematic spire had collapsed and centuries of History were reduced to ashes. The song evokes the feelings of band members who actually live a few steps from the Cathedral since childhood, and how Wonders that seem eternal can be destroyed in a few hours, while the video plunges from Paris sky to Notre-Dame surroundings, then right into the flames. The shock of witnessing the fire gave the first spark of inspiration for the overall 'Of Wonders and Wars' concept. Ce morceau a été intégralement composé et écrit dans la nuit du 15 Avril 2019. Ce jour-là, un incendie s'est déclaré dans la cathédrale Notre-Dame de Paris. Malgré l'intervention des pompiers, le temps de maîtriser l'incendie, l'emblématique flèche était tombée, et des siècles d'Histoire réduites en cendres. La chanson évoque les sentiments des membres du groupe qui vivent à quelques pas de la cathédrale depuis leur enfance voyant une merveille qui semblait éternelle être détruite en quelques heures, tandis que la vidéo plonge depuis le ciel de Paris dans le quartier de Notre-Dame, puis directement dans la fournaise. Le choc d'assister à cet incendie a été la première étincelle d'inspiration pour le concept de 'Of Wonders And Wars', raison pour laquelle nous avons souhaité sortir cette vidéo en premier.
