Following the release of “This Is Me Now (feat. Kid Brunswick)”, The Frst is back with an anthemic ode to the death of “Small Talk”, an analogy for post pandemic times where human contact is all but extinct. With modern-rock tones reminiscent of Linkin Park and Machine Gun Kelly, all 130+ instrument and vocal tracks within the “Small Talk” recording session were meticulously performed by Mikei Gray, whose only outside help consisted of utilizing Taking Back Sunday vocalist Adam Lazzara’s own Digitech ‘Grunge’ pedal to attain Tom Morello style antics on the guitar. Mixed by Grammy winner Steve Hardy (Jay Z, Alecia Keys, Marty Freidman) and multi-platinum mastering engineer Andy VanDette (David Bowie, Sublime, The Beastie Boys, Rush)!
