This year is a tough one, as it seems the world is slowly going back to normal… but we’re not quite there yet. So this June 12 we’ll celebrate RSD in a different way. IIVII aka Josh Graham is an artist embodying everything Consouling stands for. The dark aesthetic, intense music and experimental approach make for an immersive listening experience. For the occasion of this post pandemic RSD, the previously released IIVII album ‘Obsidian’ will get its first ever release on vinyl. The dystopian realm of this piece of music was, at the time of its release, further explored with the following album ‘Grinding Teeth / Zero Sleep’, a double LP completely crushed by Corona. These two releases, both Obsidian and Grinding Teeth / Zero Sleep, tell their own story but are in perfect dialogue with each other. Record Store Day 2021 will be all about the world of IIVII. A perfect moment to redeem what got cancelled by Covid. A time to sit down, look well and listen. We’re inviting you to join us in this extraordinary universe.
