DISTANT RELEASES NEW ALBUM “INTO DESPAIR” VIA CENTURY MEDIA RECORDS

Dutch/Slovak Deathcore Powerhouse Unleash Their Most Personal and Emotionally Intense Record to Date, Now Featured in Metal Injection's Weekly Injection of New Releases

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Dutch/Slovak deathcore powerhouse DISTANT have officially released their highly anticipated new album, Into Despair, out today, November 6, 2026, via Century Media Records.

Marking a significant chapter in the band's evolution, Into Despair finds Distant exploring a more personal and emotionally raw direction, transforming real-life experiences involving pain, loss, suffering, trauma, and resilience into an uncompromising collection of crushing deathcore.

While maintaining the relentless aggression, devastating breakdowns, and punishing heaviness that have become synonymous with their sound, the new record places a greater emphasis on groove, emotional intensity, and the personal experiences that shaped its creation.

One of the album's standout moments is "All Will Be (N)One," featuring Ricky Myers of legendary death metal outfit Suffocation. The collaboration brings together two forces of extreme metal, adding another layer of brutality to an already devastating track.

The album's release is already receiving attention across the metal media landscape. Into Despair has been featured in Metal Injection's Weekly Injection of New Releases, alongside new releases from Hatebreed, Cult of Luna, and other notable names in heavy music.

Distant were also recently featured in Metal Hammer Italia for an in-depth interview discussing the inspiration and creative direction behind the album.

With Into Despair, Distant deliver a record that balances uncompromising heaviness with genuine emotional weight, offering listeners an outlet for confronting their own struggles through music. It's an album built from darkness, but one carrying an important message: nobody has to face that darkness alone.

Into Despair is available now via Century Media Records.
