IRON WINGS UNLEASH NEW HEAVY/THRASH METAL ASSAULT “ALPHA & OMEGA” OUT NOW

Riga, Latvia, April 24, 2026 — Latvian heavy/thrash metal force Iron Wings has officially released their crushing new full-length album, Alpha & Omega , available now on all major streaming platforms and Bandcamp.

Blending the melodic power of classic heavy metal with the aggressive precision of thrash, Iron Wings continue to sharpen their own identity with a record that hits hard both musically and lyrically. Fans of Lamb Of God , Machine Head , and Slayer will find plenty to sink their teeth into on Alpha & Omega .

Formed in 2016 in Riga, Iron Wings has built a reputation across Latvia, the Baltic States, and Poland through relentless live performances and a sound fueled by fast, aggressive riffs, harsh vocals, pounding drums, and undeniable stage energy. The band consists of Andris Veinbergs (bass, vocals), Dainis Andersons (guitar), and Dainis Paškēvičs (drums).

Created between 2023 and 2025, Alpha & Omega was carefully crafted without compromise, allowing every detail to be refined for maximum impact.

“The album was not rushed, so every detail has been polished to give listeners the most powerful experience,” the band states.

The 11-track album delivers a wide range of moods while staying firmly rooted in heavy/thrash metal intensity. Opening fire with the explosive “Burning Man,” Iron Wings immediately set the tone with razor-sharp riffs and commanding vocals. Tracks like “Cyanide” and “Warrior (Si Vis Pacem Para Bellum)” dive headfirst into aggressive thrash territory, while songs such as “Snake Eater” and “Halo from Hell” bring groove-driven heaviness without sacrificing momentum.

Lyrically, Alpha & Omega reflects the tension and chaos of the modern world. Rather than staying silent, Iron Wings channels frustration, fury, and resistance into music designed to confront listeners head-on.

“We cannot remain indifferent and silent about what is currently happening in the world,” the band explains. “Fury, energy, not being afraid to speak out and standing up against what is happening in the world in the way we as a band can do best, creating an unambiguous message both musically and thematically.”

Iron Wings’ previous releases include the EP Tumšie miglāji (2017), the album Dzejnieks (2020), and Ritual of Rage (2022). With Alpha & Omega , the band pushes their sound further than ever before, delivering a record built for both old-school metalheads and modern thrash maniacs alike.
