Rising groove metal outfit We All Rise recently appeared on The Zach Moonshine Show on Metal Devastation Radio, where they discussed their debut album The Beginning of the End , working with Billy Graziadei , and how their collaboration with Evan Seinfeld unexpectedly played a role in reigniting BIOHAZARD.
Speaking about the band’s formation, members explained that the project came together after years of experience in the scene.
“We’ve all been playing music our whole lives… working on different projects… and it just felt like it was time to put it out there.”
The band also opened up about the challenge of finding a name that truly represented their message.
“It was an uphill battle… a couple months just throwing names back and forth.”
The name ultimately came from a personal moment.
“My wife gave me a card… and one line said, ‘If one rises, we all rise.’ I looked at it and said, that’s it.”
They added that the abbreviation carries its own weight.
“When you shorten it down… it’s WAR.”
We All Rise credited Billy Graziadei with playing a major role in shaping both the album and the band itself.
“We consider him the fifth member of the band.”
Graziadei’s involvement went beyond production duties.
“He would be the first one up, already working… even after 16 hours in the studio.”
The band emphasized his mentorship and personal investment.
“He helped develop the band… not just musically, but in life.”
One of the biggest moments surrounding the album is the track “Crown,” which features Evan Seinfeld .
According to the band, the collaboration had deeper implications than expected.
“That was the first real contact Billy and Evan had in almost 15 years.”
They revealed that the track marked the first time the two had worked together in over a decade.
“It was the first time we heard them together in that long.”
The band believes the collaboration helped spark BIOHAZARD’s reunion.
“They inspired us… and we were able to inspire them again. Full circle.”
We All Rise also detailed their decision to take a fully analog-style approach to recording the album.
“If we fucked up, we redid the whole song.”
The band used real amps, live drums, and avoided digital shortcuts.
“We didn’t want plugins. We wanted that real sound.”
They added that imperfections were part of the appeal.
“It’s not a machine… it’s real. It’s emotions.”
Drawing influence from bands like Biohazard and the late ’90s groove metal and hardcore scene, We All Rise aim to bring that energy into a modern context.
“I’m a big ’90s guy… that music stuck with me.”
When asked to define the band’s message, the answer was direct.
“If I could sum it up in one word… unity.”
The band addressed the current state of division in the world and emphasized their goal of bringing people together.
“There’s too much division right now.”
At the same time, they aim to inspire perseverance.
“Life is tough… but you keep fighting. Tomorrow’s another day.”
With The Beginning of the End now available and tour plans underway, We All Rise are continuing to build momentum.
The band also made it clear they are open to connecting with fans and media.
“We answer everybody… we want to hear what people think.”

Rising metal and hardcore force We All Rise has officially dropped their debut full-length, The Beginning of the End , via Golden Robot Records . A ferocious blend of 90s-inspired metal, hardcore grooves, and modern hard rock edge, the album announces the arrival of a band ready to leave an indelible mark on the scene.
Formed from years of shared musical journeys, We All Rise unites four seasoned musicians with diverse backgrounds— Gery Grey (vocals), Choupah Brutality (drums), Joel Von Schlamauss (bass), and XIII (guitars)—into a powerful unit delivering shredding riffs, dynamic vocal textures, and hard-hitting grooves. Their sound, simultaneously nostalgic and forward-thinking, resonates with fans of Sepultura, Pantera, and Biohazard alike.
During the album’s recording, a standout moment emerged when Billy Graziadei invited Evan Seinfeld to contribute vocals on the track Crown . This collaboration marked the first time the founding members of Biohazard had shared a track in over a decade, sparking a reunion of the original lineup now dominating stages worldwide.
Produced by Graziadei himself and expertly mixed and mastered by Tue Madsen (Meshuggah, Suicide Silence), The Beginning of the End captures a band at the peak of creative synergy. The album is an emotional and sonic journey through collapse, resilience, and rebirth, exploring the end of the familiar and the hope that emerges on the other side.
Golden Robot Records comments:
"The Beginning of the End is the boldest, most cathartic statement from We All Rise yet. Towering riffs, haunting melodies, and raw lyrical storytelling combine to make an album that hits hard while leaving a lasting impression."
