GODLESS Unleash “Architect of Torment” – New Single Marks 10 Years of Relentless Death Metal

Indian extreme metal powerhouse GODLESS are set to release their blistering new single, Architect of Torment , on May 1, 2026 . Celebrating a decade of uncompromising death metal, the band follows a trajectory that has taken them from India’s underground to international stages, including Wacken Open Air , Obscene Extreme Festival , and SWR Barroselas Metalfest .

Formed in 2015, GODLESS have built a reputation on thrash-infused, aggressive death metal that refuses to compromise. From their debut EP Centuries of Decadence (2016) to their acclaimed full-length States of Chaos (2021), the Hyderabad quartet have consistently pushed boundaries, earning attention from Rolling Stone India , Metal Injection , and Invisible Oranges , while topping Bandcamp’s global thrash and death metal charts.

Architect of Torment sees GODLESS expanding their sound while retaining their signature intensity. “The track balances crushing riffs, tight grooves, and guttural vocals with a more melancholic and atmospheric dimension,” says the band. “Moving between relentless heaviness and eerie restraint, it explores institutionalized dehumanization, following a man trapped in a system where he becomes both victim and architect of the suffering around him.”

The single was produced by GODLESS and mixed & mastered at Rorysound Studio in Sweden by Lawrence Mackrory , delivering a sonic experience that blends aggression with immersive depth.
