BLACKBRAID Unleashes New EP 'Nocturnal Womb' With Music Video Premiere

Indigenous solo black metal force BLACKBRAID is back, delivering a chilling new EP, Nocturnal Womb , set for independent release this Friday, March 6. To mark the occasion, BLACKBRAID has teamed up with Black Metal Promotion to premiere the EP’s lead single, “Celestial Bloodlust,” accompanied by a fierce live performance video. Shot by Moshmallows at Stockholm’s Kollektivet Livet Bar & Scen, the video captures the raw energy of Blackbraid’s ravenous Swedish fanbase. 

“Nocturnal Womb” features tracks that were too dark and visceral to fit within the Blackbraid III trilogy. The standalone EP includes the brutal title track, the electrifying “Celestial Bloodlust,” and an acoustic instrumental interpretation of “Barefoot Ghost Dance on Blood Soaked Soil.” With the release imminent, fans can pre-order the EP now through Blackbraid.US and Blackbraid.EU.

Following the release, BLACKBRAID will hit the road across the UK and Ireland from April 9–14, 2026, supported by Winterfylleth and Noctem
