Dragsholm are dragging blackened death metal back into the crypt with the unveiling of their latest single I Am the Impaler, taken from the band’s forthcoming debut full length From The Bloodlines of Bram. The album arrives March 20th 2026 through Faithless Entertainment and is now available for preorder.

Originally forged by Vlad Rituals in 2017 as a straight up black metal assault channeling the grim spirit of Mayhem, Gorgoroth and Dark Funeral, Dragsholm evolved into a full-blown war engine by 2022. With G.B. hammering out drums, Brendan Schleim Daly on guitar and the addition of Gravelord in 2025, the band steered into a barbaric black/death hybrid invoking Belphegor, Deicide and Marduk. Lyrically they feed on old horror cinema and gothic literature, embracing a cold and shadow-drenched atmosphere that most modern extreme metal lost somewhere along the way.

From The Bloodlines of Bram stands as the band’s most refined statement yet. Razor sharp riffs, relentless blastbeats and ritualistic vocal attacks collide into a record that stands toe-to-toe with the genre’s heavy hitters. No gimmicks. No gloss. Just pitch black extremity rooted in tradition.

The album was recorded at Backroom Studios and produced, mixed and mastered by Scot Moriarty, capturing the sonic ferocity Dragsholm deliver on stage.
