The 2025 MTV Video Music Awards transformed into a celebration of heavy metal history as Yungblud, joined by Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler and Joe Perry and Extreme’s Nuno Bettencourt, delivered a show-stopping tribute to the late Ozzy Osbourne.

Ozzy Osbourne died on July 22, 2025, at the age of 76, following years of health struggles, including Parkinson’s disease.
