Portland, OR / Washington, DC — Bravemusic proudly announces the release of Paint It Black , the electrifying new single and music video from melodic metal duo Element of Fate , available now on YouTube and across all major platforms.

Reimagining The Rolling Stones’ 1966 rock classic, Paint It Black gets a fierce modern upgrade—thunderous guitar riffs, soaring vocals, and a dark, cinematic edge that transforms the song into a heavy metal anthem.

“ We aimed to respect the original while adding our own energy and style, ” says guitarist Scott Loose . The new arrangement blends the epic grandeur of traditional heavy metal with a fresh melodic punch, anchored by Carol Phillips’ emotive, powerhouse vocals. Phillips also self-produced the official music video, visually translating the track’s themes into striking, story-driven imagery.

Mixed and mastered by John Mario of JBG Records, this release showcases the band’s skill at honoring the greats while forging their own sound—one that will resonate with fans of Nightwish, Judas Priest, and Dio.

Formed in 2022, Element of Fate is a Portland, OR / Washington, DC-based duo known for combining thrash, melodic, and epic metal elements with strong visual artistry. Paint It Black offers a glimpse of what’s to come on their upcoming debut album Dreamfall , scheduled for May 2026 .
