LUTHER Unleashes Debut EP Next Time Send a Killer — A Fierce Statement of Survival, Defiance, and Genre-Bending Innovation

Berlin, Germany – The alternative metal scene has a bold new contender. LUTHER, the genre-bending Berlin-based outfit, drops their explosive debut EP Next Time Send a Killer today, June 13th, 2025. Fusing the blistering energy of metalcore and djent with the edge of trap metal, the two-track EP hits hard both sonically and thematically, confronting betrayal, isolation, and resistance with unapologetic force.

The lead single, “Next Time Send a Killer,” arrives with a visually striking official music video , filmed by acclaimed videographer Christopher Hesse STRANGEWORKS . Set against the vivid backdrop of Berlin’s nightlife, the video premieres today at 12 PM (CEST), complementing the EP’s theatrical and emotionally raw energy.

Produced by Riff Grimez (aka Brian Spencer) and mixed/mastered by Enrico Tiberi , the EP delivers a surgically precise yet emotionally unhinged soundscape. Gritty grooves, unrelenting guitars, and soul-wrenching vocals collide across both tracks, bringing to mind acts like Poppy , Kim Dracula , and Thrown —yet LUTHER’s identity remains unmistakably their own.

“This EP tells the story of someone who’s been left for dead by the world and decides to claw their way back. It’s violent. It’s unhinged. It’s necessary,” says Leo Luther , the band’s visionary frontman and conceptual force.
