OUT NOW: ExHell Unleashes Debut Single “Fate of the World” — A Relentless Thrash Metal Assault for the Ages

[GERMANY] – Rising from the ashes of artistic divergence, ExHell erupts onto the metal scene with their crushing debut single “Fate of the World,” released March 28, 2025 . A blistering mix of old-school Thrash with ferocious modern edge, the single delivers an all-out sonic attack that channels the raw energy of Metallica , the technical aggression of Megadeth , and the grim edge of Obituary .

Born in early 2024 after Leonard Lege , Timo Funke , and Sam Grebien parted ways with their previous project, ExHell was forged with a singular mission: to create uncompromising Thrash Metal on their own terms. The trio found their missing piece in Rayk Wessel , whose vocals brought the fire needed to complete their vision.

With little time and even fewer resources, ExHell pushed through early trials—including a debut live performance with lyrics written the night before —to carve out their unique sound, blending Thrash, Death, and Black Metal into a potent mix of speed, aggression, and atmosphere.

Produced and mixed by Marvin T. , with drum editing by Achim Grebien , “Fate of the World” captures the band’s relentless drive and raw, unapologetic style. A dark, apocalyptic anthem wrapped in razor-sharp riffage and breakneck pacing, the track sets the tone for what’s to come from this rising force in the underground metal scene.

“After we filmed the music video, it was all a bit of a blur, to be honest. I don't remember much of what happened after,” says drummer Sam Grebien , capturing the whirlwind of intensity that has defined their journey so far.

With their second single already in the works and a debut LP taking shape, ExHell is just getting started. Armed with ferocity, vision, and riffs for days, they’re poised to carve their name deep into the legacy of modern Thrash.
