California Villain Honors Fallen Brother Steve Stano with Upcoming Single Release and Album Announcement

California Villain, the rising heavy metal force from the heart of California, is set to release their highly anticipated debut album "Saints & Sinners" on November 1st, 2024. This album promises a high-octane mix of heavy metal and hard rock, tailor-made for fans of Metallica, Iron Maiden, and Judas Priest.

However, the band faces a bittersweet moment as they mourn the tragic loss of their brother and bassist, Steve Stano, who passed away on Friday. In honor of Steve, California Villain has made significant changes to their upcoming single releases. The band is proud to announce that they will be releasing "Me," Steve’s favorite song, this Friday, October 4th. Originally shelved for years, "Me" was reimagined after Riley and Steve joined the band, turning it into what Steve referred to as their "Radio hit."

“Steve had a strong influence on reworking the song, and it truly became a different piece in the process,” shares lead vocalist and guitarist Brian Holliday. “With the timing of his passing, we feel it’s only right to honor him with this release. We hope you all enjoy the track as much as he did. We know he’ll be rocking out to it, singing along, and smiling down on us with that big grin.”

As part of this tribute, California Villain will NOT be releasing "Saints & Sinners" as a single on Friday, October 11th. The band expresses immense gratitude for the outpouring of love and support from fans, stating, “Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all the stories, messages, pictures, and videos shared. Steve is truly loved by so many.”

With a lineup featuring Brian Holliday (vocals, guitar), Riley Phillips (guitar), Glenn Wallis (drums), and the late Steve Stano (bass), California Villain delivers a unique blend of groove, melody, and raw energy, capturing the essence of California's rock spirit. "Saints & Sinners" is more than just a collection of songs; it’s a statement of intent from a band ready to take the metal world by storm.

Stay tuned for the release of "Me" this Friday, and join California Villain in celebrating the life and legacy of Steve Stano.
