Description
What happens when chill acoustic guitar meets hip-hop beats?
**Midnight Drift** is an original instrumental performance by MorktrA, blending melodic acoustic guitar improvisation with laid-back hip-hop rhythms, atmospheric synthesizers, and a hypnotic bass groove.
The performance begins with a simple acoustic guitar riff before the full arrangement kicks in, transforming it into a layered, downtempo instrumental.
The music combines:
- Relaxed, melodic acoustic guitar
- A chill, hip-hop-inspired drum groove
- Atmospheric synthesizer textures
- Deep, steady bass
- Live guitar improvisation over a layered loop
The percussion was played manually on my keyboard, and the guitar performance develops naturally over the repeating arrangement.
Whether you're unwinding after a long day, relaxing with headphones, or simply enjoying atmospheric instrumental music, Midnight Drift offers four minutes of guitar-driven grooves and evolving melodies.
**About MorktrA**
I create original music ranging from acoustic folk and atmospheric instrumentals to progressive rock and experimental guitar performances. Much of my instrumental work develops through improvisation, looping, and spontaneous musical exploration.
