Why the Pit is the Only Endgame That Matters:
Let's be honest: nothing else compares to Diablo 4 Items the Pit.
XP per hour: Highest in the game
Opals per hour: ~7,000
Legendary drops per hour: 500+
Aspect farming: Guaranteed when salvaging ancestral gear with GA
Even if you're geared, Pit 75-79 remains optimal:
Takes 90-100 seconds per run
Minimal load times
Balanced risk-reward
Greater Affix drop rate is excellent
Higher Pit levels (80-89) offer slightly better drop odds, but clearing slows dramatically, dropping your loot per hour. Run what you can clear under 2 minutes. That's the rule.
How the Pit Scaling Works:
Pit 1 to 70: Enemies die at the same speed.
Pit 71+: Clear times go up ~5 seconds every 2 levels.
Every 10 levels: Bosses drop more legendaries.
Higher Pit = more XP, more Opals, better GA odds.
Pit 79: Best value per time spent.
It's a simple trade-off. More difficulty = slightly more rewards, but after a certain point, the time investment isn't worth the returns.
Gambling Tips:
1. Use 2500-5000 Opals in bursts.
2. Gamble Gloves, Rings, Amulets, or Offhands.
3. Focus on getting items with:
At least 1 GA
Your target aspect (or high-value aspect to extract)
Don't salvage gambling gear unless it's ancestral. Sell it to vendors to gain gold - then invest gold in crafting, upgrades, or cheap Diablo 4 Items rerolling stats.
