An uncommon condition called Budd- Chiari Syndrome (BCS) is brought on by the blockage and constriction of the hepatic veins (veins in the liver). A rare condition known as Budd-Chiari Syndrome (BCS) is brought on by the hepatic veins becoming constricted and blocked. The inferior vena cava is where the hepatic veins take the blood from the liver, where it then travels to the right side of the heart. As a result, blood cannot freely flow from the liver to the heart due to vein constriction.
