This course discusses in detail the three approaches regarding value in appraisal including sales comparison, cost and income capitalization. Students will gain insight into how to understand the connection between highest and best use analysis, market analysis, and the three approaches to valuation in real estate appraisal. This appraisal continuing education course has a prerequisite: completion of the Basic Appraisal Principles and Procedures Courses. After you have completed your exam, you can apply for your license. Applications are sent to the Office of Real Estate Appraisers (OREA). You need your application (one of the RE forms available on the Department of Real Estate’s website), certificates of completion from your prerequisite courses, and payment forms or checks.
