I'm a fan of LinkedIn® and you know it.

In fact, I have turned helping companies in their actions on LinkedIn into my profession.

Love it.

And I am convinced of its effectiveness and benefit for our companies and professions.

But LinkedIn is not alone . (And that's the good thing that my business objective is to help entrepreneurs in their business generation and not "promote" the social network LinkedIn> it gives me "independence" when recommending other actions)

LinkedIn does not live isolated from the rest of the digital universe and the force comes when we combine several tools and several actions in a strategic way.

There is another social network that is quite forgotten, in fact, I think that many entrepreneurs do not even believe that it is a social network ... but that's where it goes ...

Some were registered by chance one day but without thinking much about it ... others did so consciously but that's where the thing ended, they don't use it strategically, and others don't even know its potential.

Have you ever used the Google search engine? What a question, huh?

I put my hand in the fire and I don't get burned if I assure you that your answer is YES. And as you have done it, you do it and you will do it… .your clients too.

The network that you must have worked on in addition to LinkedIn is:

GOOGLE MY BUSINESS: The other social network that you should take care of as a B2B company

First of all, I must tell you that Google My Business is NOT the same as Google + (that social network that disappeared due to starvation).

Google My Business (GMB) is Google's business tool.

Through this tool, Google allows companies to:

  1. position yourself on Google Maps (come on, you use that too! Doesn't this feature really seem “relevant” to you?
  2. make your company known to your public: what it does, who it helps, how it does it Where is it, what is your website, your hours, your phone ...
  3. Include testimonials from clients or followers who will value your services.
  4. report you with monthly statistics that will help you make decisions.

Hey! Does this sound like my proposal to reach the heart of your potential client? Yes, my mantra:

FIRST YOU MUST BE KNOWN, TO BECOME RECOGNIZED FOR YOUR VALUE, THEN WANTED AND DESIRED TO FINALLY BE… PURCHASED!

With the failure of Google Plus, and what comes next is a personal opinion, I think Google is going to try to make Google My Business at the center of its business services, in its new social network application for companies.
