Description
How do you install and commission a high-temperature flue gas ultrasonic flow meter? Part 4 demonstrates the complete field installation, wiring, purge-air connection, probe installation, temperature measurement, and commissioning process.
This video provides a practical step-by-step demonstration of a high-temperature flue gas ultrasonic flow velocity meter installation and commissioning process.
The procedure covers the ultrasonic flow velocity meter, purge-air control cabinet, downstream and upstream transducers, signal wiring, PT100 temperature sensors, end-face purge air, air-sleeve purge, cooling fan, and dedicated power supply.
The video also demonstrates how to install the ultrasonic probes after confirming the purge-air supply, connect the system to the site distribution panel, check flue gas temperature, verify the cooling effect, and monitor the measurement interface and alarm status.
The cooling fan and purge-air system help protect the transducers during high-temperature operation. Actual purge-air flow, installation conditions, and commissioning parameters should be adjusted according to the site operating conditions.
Topics covered:
• Ultrasonic flow meter installation
• Ultrasonic transducer installation
• Purge-air connection
• Cooling fan installation
• Signal and PT100 wiring
• 220 VAC power supply
• Flue gas temperature measurement
• Measurement interface
• Alarm monitoring
• Complete system commissioning
