I’m C. Edward Winslow , author of The SEED. I always planned a career in the sciences, but one day while visiting a friend in San Francisco, I stopped by a favorite game store. As I was leaving, I met Gary Gygax, who told me about a new game he created called Dungeons & Dragons. Intrigued, I went back inside and bought the ‘boxed set’ three pamphlets that laid the foundation for creating a fantasy world. That night, I began designing my own world, and soon my college friends were coming over every Friday for fantasy adventures.
