Blue Hummingbird Coffee ("BHB Coffee") began with a simple yet powerful idea. We chose the blue hummingbird as our brand's symbol because it represents one of the world's most captivating and rare creatures, aligning perfectly with our core values: relentless discovery, vibrant colors, and giving back.

Over the years, we have experimented with a sustainable, water-efficient coffee bean processing technique known as Natural processing. This method, commonly used in African artisanal coffee but rare in Latin America, produces coffee with a deep, complex aroma and flavor profile that truly stands out.

Before launching Blue Hummingbird Coffee, Christian would bring back roasted coffee from Guatemala to share with his family and friends. It was during one of these moments, over a pot of Acatenango, that the three founders solidified their vision to create Blue Hummingbird Coffee.
